Lately, I have been craving Hummus & Greek Salads every day, so I figured why not put them together in a dip!
These fresh flavors will keep you on track while satisfying that snacking desire during Sunday football.
Here are the basics of what you need:
Cucumbers
Tomatoes
Feta Cheese
Olive or Avocado Oil
Lemon Juice
Dried Basil
Dried Garlic Powder
Dried Oregano
Salt & Pepper
Hummus
Pita Chips
Fresh & Easy Mediterranean Dip
Enjoy these fresh flavors with crispy pita chips!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1.5 cups chopped tomatoes I use a combination of grape and roma
- 1 cup chopped cucumber
- 1 cups hummus homemade or store bought
- 1 Tbsp olive or avocado oil
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1 bag Pita Chips
Instructions
- Chop the tomatoes and cucumbers.
- Whisk together the oil, lemon juice, dried basil, salt, pepper, and dried oregano in a medium bowl.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, cucumber, and crumbled feta to the bowl. Toss until well coated.
- Spread the hummus out evenly across your serving dish. Top with the tomato, cucumber and feta mixture.
- Serve with pita chips and enjoy!
